Fibre and fabric technologies
A variety of microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi cause problems such as deterioration of fabric, staining, odours and health concerns. We offer durable patented surfactant technology for all substrates for controlling anti-microbial generation and growth and subsequent anti-odour effect. Our products can be applied by spray, padding or by exhaust process.
Improves anti-slip properties and seam efficiency on loose fabric structures such as linings, interlinings and lightweight fabrics.
Synthetic fibres have an inherent property of static generation which leads to clinging of fabric and increased soiling tendency, leading to wearer’s discomfort. To control/ nullify static generation – we require anti-static agents. We offer different products which can meet stringent anti-static testing methods and durability requirements.
For the best dyeing results it is necessary for the substrate to have have a neutral core pH of the substrate post alkali treatment. Our core alkali neutralises offer a sustainable solution for use on cotton, polyester, polyamide and their associated blends.
It is required from active and sports-wears to transport moisture from body to fabric and evaporate further during physical exercise or training. It improves the wearer’s comfort and increases performance. For this kind of moisture management fabric, we offer specialised durable systems with added quick dry properties for quick spread and absorption of moisture.
Sewability improvers improve sewing performance of woven and knitted garments during high speed stitching. They reduce friction between needle and substrate thereby reducing heat generated in high-speed stitching operations. These products can also be used to improve, tear and bursting strength of fabrics and can be used along-with durable press finishing where fabric tendering probability is high.
We have a range of softeners for use with different substrates that offer durability effects and improve feel. We offer anionic, cationic and non-ionic softeners as well as specialised silicone softeners specifically for printed goods.
UV radiation is known to cause erythema (sunburn) on short term exposure and skin cancer on long term exposure to sunlight. The clothing itself is an obvious source of protection against UV exposure and this protection greatly increases when a UV protecting additive is used.
Water repellent for all types of fabrics made from cotton, viscose rayon, polyester, nylon and their blends giving a perfect water repellent effect and gives fibres soft touch.
It is necessary for warp yarns and sewing threads not to break during high-speed weaving and stitching operations. We have a wide range of lubricants that assist in reducing friction and increase lubricity of various substrates.
