We have supplied Crodamide MP - a collector additive - to Potash mines in Europe for over 10 years. Its mechanism works by increasing the hydrophobicity of the Potassium Chloride so that it has a higher affinity to air bubbled through the flotation cells. Customers using Crodamide MP have improved the yield of their desired mineral and also reduced the overall costs by reducing the quantity of collector required.
Numerous Fluorspar mines across Europe are using Crodasinic O as a collector and frother without the need for any other reagents. It has a noticeable higher performance when compared to conventional chemistries. By increasing the hydrophobic properties of Fluorspar and improving the stability of froth at the surface of the cell, customers using Crodasinic O have increased recovery and collection rates of Fluorspar.
For over a decade, Teefroth has been used in South America as a frothing agent in copper and molybdenum flotation plants. Creating a stable froth with a product that has no collecting properties has allowed customers to increase mineral recovery rate whilst not competing with the collector system. Customers have found that Teefroth can be used in low dosage levels as it is a highly effective concentrated product.
