Prifrac™: fractionated fatty acids

Croda fractionated fatty acids cover the complete carbon chain spectrum provided by the most important oil and fat sources. Their saturated carbon chains make them ideal raw materials for use in demanding applications such as high temperature lubricant ester oils, or cosmetic ingredients requiring long shelf-life and low odour. 

The purity of the fractionated fatty acids also imparts special properties not found in more technical mixtures, such as sharp melting points, crystallinity and structuring properties in organic liquids.
